Tank Parts
All Panzerdogs avatars use tanks to battle their way to victory and rise through the ranks across all game modes. The effectiveness and play style of each player is determined by the Tank Parts they have equipped. Tanks in Panzerdogs consist of four parts:
Turret (top)
Chassis (body)
Tracks (bottom)
Skin
These pieces form together to create a playable tank with unique statistics and abilities.
Tank Parts can be earned by purchasing premium/regular panzer packs or by using ingots in the shop, and through levelling up. Special limited time events will introduce new Tank Parts. NFT Tank Parts can be bought through secondary marketplaces.
Heres a closer look at how the tank upgrade system works in Panzerdogs:
Customisation for Play Style In the garage players can customise which tank parts they equip based on: HP, attack power, defence power, and stamina. The statistics of your tank determines how you perform on the battlefield during gameplay. Players can create blue prints of different combined tanks and access all builds through the main menu screen before disembarking to battle.
Rarity and Traits Each tank part has a different rarity, this effects the overall performance of the tank on the battlefield, e.g. a common tank part does not perform as well as a legendary tank part. Certain tanks have traits which grant special abilities such as a speed boost. There are five different rarities; common, uncommon, epic, rare, and legendary.
Levelling up and Upgrading In a future update we will introduce the Upgrade System, this will allow players to use their scrap to level up individual tank parts. Levelling up tank parts will enhance statistics and grant players the ability to give the part a special bonus.
Acquisition and Trading Tank parts can be acquired through level progression, NFT airdrops, secondary NFT marketplaces, limited time events, tournaments, panzer packs, and via the Panzerdogs in-game store. When NFTv2 is released, whole tanks will no longer be able to be sold, only as individual tank parts, additionally these can be traded via in-game marketplace at a later date.
NFT integration Tank parts can be turned into NFTs if a player upgrades the individual part to level 100 using scrap when the Upgrade System update is available, and trade their assets on secondary marketplaces. NFT tanks can additionally be acquired through airdrops, tournaments, and secondary marketplaces.
Special Events and limited time sets Periodic special events in Panzerdogs will introduce new tank parts with unique bonuses to gameplay, e.g. seasonal panzer pass. These limited-time tank parts will offer new abilities and play styles.
All Tanks Parts have advantages and disadvantages in a "rock-paper-scissors" kind of way. Players are encouraged to collect many different Tank Parts to expand their arsenal and versatility. Tank statistics and abilities will be monitored and continuously balanced in order to maintain a strong user experience for all players.
Tank Part Ownership: It's important to note that if an Tank Part NFT is sold or removed from a player's wallet, all special abilities will be removed
